Andrea's professional performing career spans over 25 years. A graduate from Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet Professional Division, she has continued to evolve in contemporary and musical theater styles, in such productions as Celine Dion's "A New Day," Cirque du Soleil's "Viva Elvis," and "Chicago" International tour. A current resident of Minneapolis MN, she has most recently performed at the Guthrie Theater ("West Side Story," "Guys and Dolls," "Cyrano de Bergerac"), Chanhassen Dinner Theaters ("Holiday Inn," "Music Man"), The Ordway ("Smokey Joe's Cafe"), and in several Collide Theatrical's original jazz dance musicals.

 

Andrea has choreographed for several regional theaters and studios across North America and has taught master classes internationally in ballet, contemporary, musical theatre, and Fosse technique. Her television and film credits include, "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Oprah," "Celine in Las Vegas, Opening Night Live," "Ellen," Larry King Live," "Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve Live," "Let's Make A Deal," "The Wayne Brady Show," "World Music Awards," "The Toy Castle," "Inside the Osmonds"

 

A personal movement mentor, her focus is to guide a more efficient & enjoyable way of moving for EVERY body and facilitating a deeper understanding of performance technique in every style, for every mover. She is a certified Clinical Somatic Education exercise instructor from the Somatic Movement Center and is currently continuing her CSE and movement education. She is also a Franklin Method® Pelvic Fascia trainer and is studying her level One teacher training certification to guide Dynamic Neuro-Cognitive Imagery™ and anatomical embodiment exploration for the whole body. She is also a certified pain science informed yoga instructor and she studied the Polestar Pilates curriculum. She is a graduate of distinction from Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet's Professional Division and has won numerous awards in dance and singing competitions across Canada.

 

Andrea has taught dance, yoga and movement embodiment for Broadway Across America, Cirque Du Soleil, The Guthrie Theater, The Ordway Theater for Performing Arts, Twin Cities Musical Theater Training, The Protégé Movement, Ballet Co Laboratory, St Paul Ballet, Prairie School of Dance, Collide Theatrical, Yoga For You (NC), Kickit Dance Studio, Winnipeg Studio Theater, Dancer's Transition Resource Center of Canada, among others.
